Privacy Policy

Browsing without an account. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept briefly for security and debugging, and privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics such as page views and referrers. We do not use advertising trackers.

With an account. When you sign in with Google, GitHub or an email link we receive your email address, name and avatar from that provider. You may add a username, bio, website and X handle to your public profile. We store the designs you respect, save and submit, and your notification preferences.

Submissions. The media you upload or link, the title, categories, source link and any credit details. Anonymous suggestions may include an optional email so we can tell you when a design goes live.

Feedback and email. Messages you send through the feedback form or to hello@uitopic.com, including an email address if you provide one.

View counts. We count how often a design is opened. This is an aggregate number per design per day and is not tied to you.

• to run the site: sign-in, profiles, respects, saves, submissions and search;
• to review submissions and credit designers correctly;
• to send emails you have asked for: sign-in links, submission updates, respect milestones and the weekly digest, each of which you can turn off in settings or via the unsubscribe link;
• to answer your messages;
• to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, such as rate limiting and spam detection;
• to understand what is used, through aggregated analytics.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Your profile (username, name, avatar, bio, website, X handle) and the designs published under your account are public, together with the number of respects and saves they receive. Your email address is never shown. Which designs you have respected or saved is private to you, except as aggregated counts on the design.

We use a small number of service providers to run UItopic. They process data only on our instructions:

• hosting and delivery of the site (Vercel);
• database hosting (Neon);
• file storage for uploaded media (Cloudflare R2);
• transactional email and the newsletter (Resend);
• sign-in providers you choose (Google, GitHub), which receive only what is needed to sign you in;
• payment processing for sponsors (Stripe), which handles card details directly; we never see them.

We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service. If AGHAZADA LLC is acquired, data may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference cookie for your theme choice. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser; you will be signed out.

Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your profile and personal details within 30 days; published designs are either removed or kept credited to the original designer without your account, as you choose at deletion. Submissions that were never published are deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Email delivery logs are kept for up to 12 months for troubleshooting.

• edit your profile and notification preferences in settings at any time;
• unsubscribe from any non-essential email with the link in its footer;
• request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing hello@uitopic.com;
• ask us to correct or remove a design that shows your work without proper credit.

If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK or another region with data protection laws, you also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing is performance of our agreement with you (accounts, submissions), your consent (optional emails), and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

UItopic is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with providers that maintain industry-standard security. No method of storage is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email to account holders. AGHAZADA LLC is a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, USA, and is the data controller for UItopic. Questions and requests: hello@uitopic.com.
